Canton Cooler
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St. John

2 dozen kumquats, halved and seeded
Vodka
Muscato
Club soda
Crushed ice

Wash the kumquats. Remove the green stems and
slice in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds. Put the
fruit into a glass pitcher. Cover with the vodka.
Marinate the kumquats in the refrigerator over night.

Pour in a bottle of chilled Muscato, add club soda to
taste. Pour over ice and serve, adding a few slices of
the marinated fruit to the glass
